These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kakou Nex add-ons and websites, including Light Form, Light Form Ranger, Light Mail Merge, Light Workflow and Light Quiz (together, the "Services"). By installing or using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Services.
1Acceptance of terms
By installing, accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by Google's applicable terms for Google Workspace™ Marketplace add-ons. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2The services
Kakou Nex provides lightweight add-ons that extend Google Workspace™. This includes, without limitation:
- Light Form — set response limits per choice on Google Forms™.
- Light Form Ranger — drive Google Form™ choices from a Google Sheets™ range.
- Light Mail Merge — send bulk personalized emails and calendar invites from a Google Sheet™.
- Light Workflow — automate approvals and generate PDFs, Docs™ and Sheets™ from form responses.
- Light Quiz — generate and manage quizzes for Google Forms™ with AI.
We may add, change or discontinue features at any time to improve the Services or comply with technical and legal requirements.
3License & use
Subject to these Terms, Kakou Nex grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Services for your internal business or personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Services, except where permitted by law.
4Google accounts & data
The Services operate inside your Google Workspace™ environment and require the authorization scopes shown during installation. We access your Google data only to provide the Services' features — for example, reading a Sheet range to populate form options, or sending email on your behalf.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your Google Workspace™ content to train generative AI models. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Google services also remains subject to Google's own terms.
5Plans & billing
Some Services offer a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) and licensing may be scoped per user or per domain, as described on the relevant product page. Free trials convert to the selected plan at the end of the trial unless cancelled beforehand.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your use of the Services. Actual sending and processing limits may also depend on the limits of your underlying Google Workspace™ account.
6Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- send spam, unsolicited messages or anything that violates anti-spam or privacy laws;
- infringe the rights of others or distribute unlawful, harmful or deceptive content;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems;
- violate Google's policies for Workspace™ Marketplace apps or any applicable law.
You are solely responsible for the content you send and the recipients you contact through the Services.
7Intellectual property
The Services, including their software, design, logos and content (excluding your data), are owned by Kakou Nex and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding. Google, Google Workspace, Google Forms, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Calendar are trademarks of Google LLC; Kakou Nex is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
8Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or that they will meet every requirement. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important data.
9Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kakou Nex will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
10Termination
You may stop using the Services and uninstall them at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. Upon termination, the licenses granted to you end; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
